Arabic (Original)
نَا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ،" أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ: دَرَّسْتَ مُشَدَّدَةٌ".
English Translation
Sa'id ibn Jubayr (may Allah have mercy on him) said regarding the verse: 'He covers the night with the day' (al-A'raf: 54) — He said: 'Each one of them seeks the other swiftly.'
Urdu Translation
حسن بصری رحمہ اللہ اس لفظ کو«دَرَّسْتَ»تشدید کے ساتھ پڑھا کرتے تھے۔[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب التفسير/حدیث: 908]
