Arabic (Original)
نَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، قَالَ:" قَرَأْتُ، وَقَرَءُوا عَلَيْكَ".
English Translation
Sa'id ibn Jubayr (may Allah have mercy on him) said regarding the verse: 'Indeed, We created you, then We fashioned you, then We said to the angels: Prostrate to Adam' (al-A'raf: 11) — He said: 'They were created in the form of Adam (peace be upon him) but not yet given souls, then they were fashioned, then the angels were commanded to prostrate.'

مجاہد رحمہ اللہ نے«دَارَسْتَ»کے بارے میں فرمایا: تم نے پڑھا اور لوگوں نے تم پر پڑھا۔[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب التفسير/حدیث: 904]
