Arabic (Original)
نا نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، عَنْ حَيَّانَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ , قَالَ: قَالَابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ:" سَبْعٌ صِهْرٌ، وَسَبْعٌ نَسَبٌ، وَيَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ النَّسَبِ".
English Translation
Al-Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) said regarding the verse: 'But those from whom you fear arrogance — first advise them; then if they persist, forsake them in bed; and finally, strike them lightly' (al-Nisa: 34): These are three stages of discipline, and striking should be the last resort and should not be severe.
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے فرمایا:”سات رشتے صہری ہیں، اور سات نسبی، اور رضاعت سے وہی حرام ہوتا ہے جو نسب سے حرام ہوتا ہے۔“[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب التفسير/حدیث: 600]
