Arabic (Original)
نا نا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ , قَالَ: قَالَتْعَائِشَةُرَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا،" إِنْ كَانَ أَبَوَاكِ مِنَ الَّذِينَ اسْتَجَابُوا لِلَّهِ وَالرَّسُولِ".
English Translation
Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated: I fell ill and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came to visit me. I said: O Messenger of Allah, how should I distribute my wealth? Then the verse of inheritance was revealed: 'Allah instructs you concerning your children: for the male, what is equal to the share of two females' (al-Nisa: 11).
Urdu Translation
سیدہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے عروہ بن زبیر رحمہ اللہ سے فرمایا:”تمہارے والد سیدنا زبیر بن العوام رضی اللہ عنہ اور تمہاری والدہ سیدہ اسماء بنت ابی بکر رضی اللہ عنہا ان لوگوں میں سے تھے جو اللہ اور رسول کی پکار پر لبیک کہنے والے تھے۔“[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب التفسير/حدیث: 545]
