Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَاأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْحَجَّاجِ بْنِ أَرْطَأَةَ، عَنْأَبِي جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ:" نَسَخَ شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ كُلَّ صَوْمٍ".
English Translation
Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Is any one of you unable to recite a third of the Quran in one night?" They said: "Who could recite a third of the Quran?" He said: "'Say: He is Allah, the One' is equivalent to a third of the Quran."
Urdu Translation
ابو جعفر رحمہ اللہ نے فرمایا: رمضان کے مہینے کے روزوں نے تمام سابقہ روزوں کو منسوخ کر دیا۔[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب التفسير/حدیث: 262]
