Arabic (Original)
نا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ، سَمِعَابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، يَقُولُ:" أَرْوَاحُ الشُّهَدَاءِ تُحَوَّلُ فِي طَيْرٍ خُضْرٍ تَعْلَقُ مِنْ ثَمَرِ الْجَنَّةِ".
English Translation
Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "The souls of the martyrs are transformed into green birds that cling to the fruits of Paradise."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما فرماتے ہیں:”شہداء کی روحیں سبز پرندوں میں تبدیل کر دی جاتی ہیں، جو جنت کے پھلوں میں جھولتی ہیں۔“[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب الجهاد/حدیث: 3738]
