نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، وَحَدَّثَنِي بَكْرُ بْنُ سَوَادَةَ، أَنَّ زِيَادَ بْنَ نَافِعٍ حَدَّثَهُ، عَنْكَعْبٍوَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قُطِعَتْ يَدُهُ يَوْمَ الْيَمَامَةِ:" أَنَّصَلاةَ الْخَوْفِ بِكُلِّ طَائِفَةٍ رَكْعَةٌ وَسَجْدَتَانِ". قَالَ عَمْرٌو: وَحَدَّثَنِي بَكْرُ بْنُ سَوَادَةَ، أَنَّ شَيْخًا حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّهُمْ" صَلَّوْا صَلاةَ الْخَوْفِ يَوْمَ الإِسْكَنْدَرِيَّةِ كَذَلِكَ مَعَ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ".
English Translation
Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him), a Companion of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) whose hand was cut off on the Day of Yamamah, reported that the fear prayer consists of one rak'ah and two prostrations with each group. 'Amr added: A sheikh reported that they prayed the fear prayer in the same manner with 'Amr ibn al-'As at Alexandria.

سیدنا کعب رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا: ہم نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے ساتھ یمامہ کے دن نماز خوف پڑھی۔ ہر جماعت کے ساتھ ایک رکعت اور دو سجدے۔ سیدنا عمرو بن العاص رضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھ ہم نے اسی طرح اسکندریہ میں بھی نماز خوف ادا کی۔[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب الجهاد/حدیث: 3684]
