Arabic (Original)
نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْأَبِي أُمَامَةَ، قَالَ:" كُلُّ عَمَلِ ابْنِ آدَمَ يَنْقَطِعُ إِذَا مَاتَ صَاحِبُهُ غَيْرَ الرِّبَاطِ، فَإِنَّهُ يَجْرِي لِصَاحِبِهِ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ الْمُرَابِطِ الْحَيِّ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ".
English Translation
Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: "The deeds of every person cease with his death, except for the one who guards the frontier in the cause of Allah — his deeds continue to grow until the Day of Resurrection, and he is safe from the trials of the grave."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابو امامہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے:”ہر انسان کا عمل اس کے مرنے کے ساتھ ختم ہو جاتا ہے، مگر جو اللہ کی راہ میں پہرہ دیتا ہو، اس کا اجر قیامت تک جاری رہتا ہے۔“[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب الجهاد/حدیث: 3588]
