نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِلالٍ" إِنَّالْمُجَاهِدِينَ فِي اللَّهِ ثَلاثَةٌ، بَعْضُهُمْ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ بَعْضٍ: فَرَجُلٌ جَاهَدَ بِقَلْبِهِ فَأَحَبَّ فِي اللَّهِ وَأَبْغَضَ فِي اللَّهِ، وَرَجُلٌ جَاهَدَ بِقَلْبِهِ وَلِسَانِهِ فَأَحَبَّ لِلَّهِ وَأَبْغَضَ لِلَّهِ وَأَمَرَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ، وَنَهَى عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ، وَقَاتَلَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ مَعَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ، وَهَذَا أَفْضَلُهُمْ".
English Translation
Sa'id ibn Abi Hilal said: "The mujahidin for the sake of Allah are of three types, some better than others: a man who strives with his heart — he loves for Allah's sake and hates for Allah's sake; a man who strives with his heart and tongue — he loves for Allah's sake, hates for Allah's sake, commands good and forbids evil; and one who fights alongside the Muslims against the polytheists — and this is the best of them."
Urdu Translation
حضرت سعید بن ابی ہلال رحمہ اللہ نے فرمایا:”مجاہدین تین طرح کے ہیں: دل سے جہاد کرنے والا، دل اور زبان سے جہاد کرنے والا، اور دل، زبان اور تلوار سے جہاد کرنے والا، اور یہی سب سے افضل ہے۔“[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب الجهاد/حدیث: 3493]
