Arabic (Original)
نا هُشَيْمٌ، نا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنِالرَّجُلِ تَفْجُرُ أَمَتُهُ، فَتَلِدُ مِنَ الْفُجُورِ، أَيَبِيعُ وَلَدَهَا فَيَأْكُلَ ثَمَنَهُ؟! فَقَالَ الْحَسَنُ:" هُوَ كَبَعْضِ مَالِهِ".
English Translation
Al-Hasan al-Basri was asked about a man whose slave girl commits fornication and bears a child from it — may he sell the child and consume its price? Al-Hasan said: "The child is like any other part of his property."
Urdu Translation
حضرت حسن بصری رحمہ اللہ نے کہا:”اگر کسی کی باندی بدکاری سے بچہ پیدا کرے تو اس بچہ کی قیمت اس کے مال میں شامل ہو گی۔“[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب الطلاق/حدیث: 3336]
