Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَامَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْعَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ, عَنْعَطَاءٍ، فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ:" مَا نَنْسَخْ مِنْ آيَةٍ أَوْ نُنْسِهَا سورة البقرة آية 106، قَالَ:" أَوْ نُؤَخِّرُهَا".
English Translation
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "We were on a journey when a girl came and said: 'The chief of this tribe has been stung, and our men are absent. Is there among you someone who can recite a ruqyah?' So a man whom we did not know for doing ruqyah stood up and recited. The chief was cured and gave him thirty sheep. When we came to the Prophet (peace be upon him), we told him. He asked: 'How did he know it was a ruqyah? You have done well. Divide the sheep and assign a share for me among you.'"
Urdu Translation
عطاء رحمہ اللہ نے اللہ عزوجل کے فرمان﴿مَا نَنْسَخْ مِنْ آيَةٍ أَوْ نُنْسِيهَا﴾کے بارے میں فرمایا: یعنی”یا ہم اسے مؤخر کر دیں“۔[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب التفسير/حدیث: 209]
