Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَاسُفْيَانُ، عَنِابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍأَوْ غَيْرِهِ، عَنْمُجَاهِدٍ، فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ:" إِنِّي أَعْلَمُ مَا لا تَعْلَمُونَ سورة البقرة آية 30، قَالَ:" عَلِمَ مِنْ إِبْلِيسَ الْمَعْصِيَةَ، وَخَلَقَهُ لَهَا".
English Translation
Al-Bara' ibn 'Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: "A man was reciting Surah al-Kahf while his horse was tied nearby. A cloud came and began to draw closer and closer, causing the horse to shy away. In the morning he went to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and told him. He said: 'That was tranquility (sakinah) that descended due to the recitation of the Quran.'"
Urdu Translation
سفیان رحمہ اللہ، ابن ابی نجیل یا رحمہ اللہ سے یا کسی اور سے، وہ مججب رحمہ اللہ سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ اللہ عزوجل کے فرمائن«إِنِّي أَعْلَمُ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ»کے﴾بارے میں انہوں نے کہا:”للہ تعالیٰ کو معلوم تھا کہ ابلیس نافرمانی کرے گا، اور اسی کے لیے اسے پیدا کیا۔“[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب التفسير/حدیث: 184]
