Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَاسُفْيَانُ، عَنْإِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ لِعَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ:" الْمَغْضُوبُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْيَهُودُ، وَالنَّصَارَى هُمُ الضَّالُّونَ".
English Translation
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The one who is proficient in the Quran is with the noble, righteous scribes (angels), and the one who recites it with difficulty, stammering through it, will have two rewards."
Urdu Translation
اسماعیل بن خالد رحمہ اللہ روایت کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے سیدنا عدی بن حاتم رضی اللہ عنہ سے فرمایا:«المغضوب عليهم»سے مراد”یہود“ہیں اور«الضالون»سے مراد”نصاریٰ“ہیں۔[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب التفسير/حدیث: 179]
