حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَاأَبُو شِهَابٍ، عَنِالْعَلاءِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْطَالُوتَ، عَنِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍرَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا، قَالَ:" لأَنْأَقْرَأَ الْبَقَرَةَ فِي لَيْلَةٍ، أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أَقْرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ كُلَّهُ فِي لَيْلَةٍ".
English Translation
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Allah does not listen to anything as He listens to a Prophet reciting the Quran with a beautiful voice."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے فرمایا:”میرے لیے ایک رات میں سورہ البقرہ پڑھنا، پوری رات میں پورا قرآن پڑھنے سے زیادہ پسند ہے۔“[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب التفسير/حدیث: 159]
