حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، فِيأَرْبَعَةٍ شَهِدُوا عَلَى امْرَأَةٍ بِالزِّنَا، أَحَدُهُمْ زَوْجُهَا , قَالَ:" يُلاعِنُ الزَّوْجُ وَيُجْلَدُ الثَّلاثَةَ". قَالَ أَبُو الزِّنَادِ: وَهَذَا رَأْيُ أَهْلِ بَلَدِنَا، وَهُوَ الْقَوْلُ.
English Translation
Ibn 'Abbas said regarding four men testifying against a woman for adultery, one of whom is her husband: "The husband performs li'an and the three are flogged." Abu al-Zinad said: "This is the opinion of the people of our city (Madinah), and it is the correct position."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ اگر چار مرد گواہی دیں جن میں ایک شوہر ہو تو شوہر لعان کرے اور تینوں پر حد لگے، اور یہی اہل مدینہ کا قول ہے۔[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب الطلاق/حدیث: 2760]
