Arabic (Original)
نَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قِرَاءَةً عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: وَلا عَلَى الَّذِينَ إِذَا مَا أَتَوْكَ لِتَحْمِلَهُمْ قُلْتَ لا أَجِدُ مَا أَحْمِلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ تَوَلَّوْا وَأَعْيُنُهُمْ تَفِيضُ مِنَ الدَّمْعِ سورة التوبة آية 92 قَالَ:" هُمْ بَنُو مُقَرِّنٍ , مِنْ مُزَيْنَةَ".
English Translation
Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) said regarding the verse: 'Nor upon those who, when they came to you that you might give them mounts, you said: I find nothing whereon to mount you; they turned back while their eyes overflowed with tears' (al-Tawbah: 92) — He said: 'They were the sons of Muqarrin, from the tribe of Muzaynah.'
Urdu Translation
مجاہد رحمہ اللہ نے اللہ عزوجل کے قول﴿وَلَا عَلَى الَّذِينَ إِذَا مَا أَتَوْكَ لِتَحْمِلَهُمْ قُلْتَ لَا أَجِدُ مَا أَحْمِلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ تَوَلَّوْا وَأَعْيُنُهُمْ تَفِيضُ مِنَ الدَّمْعِ﴾کے بارے میں، فرمایا: وہ لوگ بنو مقرن مزینہ سے تھے۔[سنن سعید بن منصور/كتاب التفسير/حدیث: 1031]
