Arabic (Original)
عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: سئل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أي العمل أفضل؟ قال: "إيمان بالله ورسوله" قيل: ثم ماذا؟ قال: "الجهاد في سبيل الله" قيل: ثم ماذا؟ قال: "حج مبرور". ((متفق عليه))
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was asked, "Which deed is the best?" He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) replied, "Faith in Allah and His Messenger." He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was asked, "What is next?" He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) replied, "Jihad (holy fighting) in the Cause of Allah." Then he was asked: "What is after that (in goodness)?" He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) replied, "Hajj Mabrur (which is accepted by Allah).".
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے پوچھا گیا کون سا عمل سب سے افضل ہے؟ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: اللہ اور اس کے رسول پر ایمان لانا۔ عرض کیا گیا: پھر کون سا؟ ارشاد فرمایا: اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد۔ عرض کیا گیا: پھر کون سا؟ ارشاد فرمایا: حج مبرور (مقبول حج)۔ (متفق علیہ)
