Arabic (Original)
وعنه قال: سئل النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أي العمل أفضل؟ قال: "إيمان بالله ورسوله" قيل: ثم ماذا؟ قال: "الجهاد في سبيل الله" قيل ثم ماذا؟ قال: "حج مبرور" ((متفق عليه)) "المبرور" هو الذي لا يرتكب صاحبه فيه معصية.
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was asked: "Which deed is the best?" He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) replied, "Faith in Allah and His Messenger." Then he was asked: "What is next?" He replied, "Jihad (holy fighting) in the Cause of Allah." Then he was asked, "What is after that?" He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) replied, "Hajj Mabrur (an accepted pilgrimage).".
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے پوچھا گیا: کون سا عمل سب سے افضل ہے؟ آپ نے ارشاد فرمایا: اللہ اور اس کے رسول پر ایمان لانا۔ عرض کیا گیا: پھر کون سا؟ ارشاد فرمایا: اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد کرنا۔ عرض کیا گیا: پھر کون سا؟ ارشاد فرمایا: حج مبرور (مقبول حج)۔ (متفق علیہ)
