Arabic (Original)
وعن أنس رضي الله عنه قال: جاء رجل إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلمى الله عليه وسلم فقال يا رسول الله ، إني أريدُ سفراً، فزودني، فقال: زودك الله التقوى" قال: زدني، فقال: "وغفر ذنبك" ، قال: زدني، قال: “ويسر لك الخير حيثما كنت” ((رواه الترمذي وقال : حديث حسن))
English Translation
Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported that a man came to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and said: "O Beloved Messenger of Allah! I intend to go on a journey, so supplicate for me." He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said, "May Allah grant you the provision of piety." The man said: "Please supplicate more for me." He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said, "May He forgive your sins!" The man repeated: "Please supplicate more for me." Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated, "May He facilitate for you the doing of good wherever you are.".
Urdu Translation
حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک شخص نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! میں سفر کا ارادہ رکھتا ہوں، مجھے زادِ راہ عطا فرمائیے (یعنی دعا فرمائیے)۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: اللہ تمہیں تقویٰ کا زادِ راہ عطا فرمائے۔ عرض کیا: مزید فرمائیے۔ ارشاد فرمایا: اور تمہارے گناہ بخش دے۔ عرض کیا: مزید فرمائیے۔ ارشاد فرمایا: اور جہاں بھی ہو تمہارے لیے بھلائی آسان فرمائے۔ (ترمذی، حسن)
