Arabic (Original)
وعن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما قال: كان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وجيوشه إذا علو الثنايا كبروا، وإذا هبطوا سبحوا. ((رواه أبو داود بإسناد صحيح.
English Translation
Hadrat Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them) reported:Whenever the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and his army ascended a height, they would proclaim: "Allahu Akbar (Allah is Greatest)," and when they climbed down, they would proclaim: "Subhan Allah (Allah is free from imperfection).".
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے فرمایا: نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم اور آپ کے لشکر جب کسی بلندی پر چڑھتے تو اللہ اکبر کہتے اور جب نیچے اترتے تو سبحان اللہ کہتے۔ (حضرت ابوداؤد)
