Arabic (Original)
وعن أنس رضي الله عنه أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، كان إذا تكلم بكلمة أعادها ثلاثًا حتى تفهم عنه، وإذا أتى على قوم فسلم عليهم سلم عليهم ثلاثًا. ((رواه البخاري)) وهذا محمول على ما إذا كان الجمع كثيرًا.
English Translation
Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to repeat his words thrice so that the meaning thereof would be fully understood, and whenever he came upon a gathering of people, he would greet them. He would repeat Salam thrice..
Urdu Translation
حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم جب کوئی بات ارشاد فرماتے تو تین مرتبہ دہراتے تاکہ اچھی طرح سمجھی جائے، اور جب کسی قوم کے پاس آتے تو تین مرتبہ سلام کرتے۔ (بخاری)
