Arabic (Original)
وعن عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص رضي الله عنهما أن رجلا سأل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: أي الإسلام خير؟ قال: "تطعم الطعام، وتقرأ السلام على من عرفت ومن لم تعرف". ((متفق عليه)).
English Translation
Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'as (may Allah be well pleased with them) reported that a man asked the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him): "Which act in Islam is the best?" He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) replied, "To give food, and to greet everyone, whether you know or you do not.".
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن حضرت عمرو بن العاص رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ ایک شخص نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے پوچھا: اسلام میں کون سا عمل سب سے بہتر ہے؟ آپ نے ارشاد فرمایا: کھانا کھلانا اور ہر شخص کو سلام کرنا خواہ تو اسے جانتا ہو یا نہ جانتا ہو۔ (متفق علیہ)
