وعن أبي نجيد- ضم النون وفتح الجيم - عمران بن الحصين الخزاعى رضي الله عنهما أن امرأة من جهينة أتت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وهى حبلى من الزنى، فقالت: يا رسول الله أصبت حداً فأقمه علي، فدعا نبي الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وليها فقال: أحسن إليها، فإذا وضعت فأتني، ففعل فأمر بها نبي الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فشدت عليها ثيابها، ثم أمر بها فرجمت، ثم صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم عليها. فقال له عمر: تصلى عليها يا رسول الله وقد زنت، قال: لقد تابت توبة لو قمست بين سبعين من أهل المدينة لوستعتهم، وهل وجدت أفضل من أن جادت بنفسها لله عز وجل ؟! " رواه مسلم.
English Translation
Hadrat Imran bin Al-Husain Al-Khuza'i (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported that a woman from the tribe Juhainah came to Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) while she was pregnant from (Zina) adultery and said to him: "O Beloved Messenger of Allah! I have committed an offense liable to Hadd (prescribed punishment), so exact the execution of the sentence." Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) called her guardian and said to him, "Treat her kindly. Bring her to me after the delivery of the child." That man complied with the orders. At last the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) commanded to carry out the sentence. Her clothes were secured around her and she was stoned to death. The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) led her funeral prayers. 'Umar submitted: "O Beloved Messenger of Allah! She committed Zina and you have performed funeral prayer for her?" He replied, "Verily, she made repentance which would suffice for seventy of the people of Al-Madinah if it is divided among them. Can there be any higher degree of repentance than that she sacrificed her life voluntarily to win the Pleasure of Allah, the Exalted?"..
Urdu Translation
حضرت عمران بن حصین خزاعی رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ قبیلۂ جہینہ کی ایک عورت رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے پاس آئی جو زنا سے حاملہ تھی۔ اس نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! مجھ سے حد کا جرم ہوا ہے، مجھ پر حد قائم فرمائیے۔ نبی اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اس کے ولی کو بلایا اور فرمایا: اس کے ساتھ اچھا سلوک کرو، جب بچہ پیدا ہو جائے تو مجھے لے آنا۔ اس نے ایسا ہی کیا۔ پھر نبی اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے حکم دیا اور اس کے کپڑے مضبوطی سے باندھ دیے گئے، پھر رجم کا حکم دیا اور رجم کیا گیا، پھر آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اس کی نمازِ جنازہ پڑھائی۔ حضرت عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! آپ اس پر نمازِ جنازہ پڑھتے ہیں جبکہ اس نے زنا کیا تھا؟ ارشاد فرمایا: اس نے ایسی توبہ کی کہ اگر مدینے کے ستر آدمیوں میں تقسیم کر دی جائے تو ان سب کو کافی ہو جائے۔ بھلا اس سے افضل بات کیا ہو سکتی ہے کہ اس نے اپنی جان اللہ عز و جل کے لیے دے دی!
