Arabic (Original)
عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْأَنْصَارِيِّ الْبَدْرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه و سلم "إنَّ مِمَّا أَدْرَكَ النَّاسُ مِنْ كَلَامِ النُّبُوَّةِ الْأُولَى: إذَا لَمْ تَسْتَحِ فَاصْنَعْ مَا شِئْت" . .
English Translation
On the authority of Hadrat Abu Mas'ud 'Uqbah ibn 'Amr al-Ansari al-Badri (may Allah be well pleased with him), who said: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "Verily, from what the people attained from the words of the earliest prophecy is: If you feel no shame, then do as you wish."
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابو مسعود عقبہ بن عمرو انصاری بدری رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے، فرماتے ہیں کہ حضور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: بے شک پہلے انبیاء کے کلام سے جو بات لوگوں کو پہنچی ہے ان میں سے ایک یہ ہے: جب تجھے شرم نہ آئے تو جو چاہے کر۔
