Arabic (Original)
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه و سلم "مِنْ حُسْنِ إسْلَامِ الْمَرْءِ تَرْكُهُ مَا لَا يَعْنِيهِ". حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ، رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ .
English Translation
On the authority of Hadrat Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be well pleased with him), who said: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "Part of the excellence of a person's Islam is his leaving that which does not concern him." A good (hasan) hadith, related by at-Tirmidhi and others in this manner.
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے، فرماتے ہیں کہ حضور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: انسان کے اسلام کی خوبی یہ ہے کہ وہ بے فائدہ باتوں کو چھوڑ دے۔ یہ حدیثِ حسن ہے، اسے ترمذی وغیرہ نے اسی طرح روایت کیا ہے۔
