Arabic (Original)
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ بِالسَّمَاءِ ذَاتِ الْبُرُوجِ وَالسَّمَاءِ وَالطَّارِقِ وَنَحْوِهِمَا .
English Translation
It is narrated by Hadrat Jabir (may Allah be well pleased with him) bin Samurah that :The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to recite "By the heaven holding the big stars" and: "By the heaven, and At-Tariq (the night-comer, i.e. the bright star)" and similar surahs in Zuhr and 'Asr
Urdu Translation
حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ظہر اور عصر میں «والسماء ذات البروج» اور «والسماء والطارق» اور اسی جیسی سورتیں پڑھتے تھے۔
