Arabic (Original)
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي جَدِّي، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لاَ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى مُسْبِلِ الإِزَارِ " .
English Translation
It is narrated that Hadrat Ash'ath (may Allah be well pleased with him) said: "I heard Sa'eed bin Jubair narrate from Hadrat Ibn 'Abbas that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) [SAW] said: 'Allah will not look at the Musbil (the one who lets his Izar come below the ankles)
Urdu Translation
حضرت اشعث فرماتے ہیں: میں نے حضرت سعید بن جبیر کو حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت کرتے سنا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: اللہ تعالیٰ ازار لٹکانے والے کی طرف نظرِ رحمت نہیں فرمائے گا۔
