Arabic (Original)
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قِرَاءَةً عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى فِي يَدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم خَاتَمًا مِنْ وَرِقٍ يَوْمًا وَاحِدًا فَصَنَعُوهُ فَلَبِسُوهُ فَطَرَحَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَطَرَحَ النَّاسُ .
English Translation
It is narrated from Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) that:He saw a ring of silver on the hand of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) [SAW] one day, and the people made and wore similar rings. Then the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) [SAW] threw his ring away and the people threw their rings away too
Urdu Translation
حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے ایک دن رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے ہاتھ میں چاندی کی انگوٹھی دیکھی اور لوگوں نے بھی ویسی ہی انگوٹھیاں بنوا کر پہنیں۔ پھر نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اپنی انگوٹھی پھینک دی تو لوگوں نے بھی اپنی انگوٹھیاں پھینک دیں۔
