Arabic (Original)
أَخْبَرَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ يَحِلُّ دَمُ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ إِلاَّ بِإِحْدَى ثَلاَثٍ النَّفْسُ بِالنَّفْسِ وَالثَّيِّبُ الزَّانِي وَالتَّارِكُ دِينَهُ الْمُفَارِقُ " .
English Translation
It is narrated from Hadrat ' Abdullah (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: "It is not permissible to shed the blood of a Muslim except in one of three cases: A soul for a soul, a adulterer who has been married, and one who separates leaving his religion
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبد اللہ (بن مسعود) رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: کسی مسلمان کا خون حلال نہیں مگر تین میں سے ایک صورت میں: جان کے بدلے جان، شادی شدہ زانی، اور دین چھوڑ کر (مسلمانوں کی) جماعت سے الگ ہونے والا۔
