Arabic (Original)
أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يَبْتَاعُونَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي أَعْلَى السُّوقِ جُزَافًا فَنَهَاهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ يَبِيعُوهُ فِي مَكَانِهِ حَتَّى يَنْقُلُوهُ .
English Translation
It is narrated from Hadrat Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be well pleased with him) that:they used to buy and sell during the time of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) at the top of the marketplace without measuring. The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) forbade them to sell it in the place where they had bought it until they moved it
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ لوگ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے زمانے میں بازار کے اوپری حصے میں بغیر ناپے غلّہ خریدتے تھے۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے انہیں اسی جگہ بیچنے سے منع فرمایا جب تک اسے (دوسری جگہ) منتقل نہ کر لیں۔
