Arabic (Original)
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " الْبَيِّعَانِ بِالْخِيَارِ مَا لَمْ يَفْتَرِقَا أَوْ يَقُولَ أَحَدُهُمَا لِلآخَرِ اخْتَرْ " .
English Translation
It was a narrated from Ayyub (upon him be peace), from Nafi from Hadrat Ibn 'Umar that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: "The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: "The two parties to a transaction both have the choice who long as they have not separated or one of them says to the other: 'Decide!"' (Sahih)
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: بیچنے والے اور خریدنے والے دونوں کو اختیار ہے جب تک وہ جدا نہ ہوں یا ان میں سے ایک دوسرے سے کہے: فیصلہ کر لو!
