Arabic (Original)
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كَانَ النَّاسُ يَتَحَرَّوْنَ بِهَدَايَاهُمْ يَوْمَ عَائِشَةَ يَبْتَغُونَ بِذَلِكَ مَرْضَاةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم .
English Translation
It is narrated that Hadrat ' Aishah (may Allah be well pleased with her) said: "The people used to try to bring their gifts (to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)) on Hadrat 'Aishah's day, hoping thereby to earn the pleasure of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)
Urdu Translation
حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا فرماتی ہیں کہ لوگ ہدیے اور تحفے بھیجتے جس دن حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ کی باری ہوتی، وہ اس طرح رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی خوشی چاہتے تھے۔
