English Translation
The Commander of the Believers Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I gave a fine horse in the way of Allah, and the one to whom I gave it neglected it. I thought that he would now sell it cheaply. I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and he said: "Do not buy it and do not take back your charity, for the one who takes back his charity is like the dog that vomits and then eats its vomit." [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 988]
Urdu Translation
امیرالمؤمنین سیدنا عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہمیں نے ایک عمدہ گھوڑا اللہ کی راہ میں دیا اور جس کو دیا تھا اس نے اس کو تباہ کر دیا میں سمجھا کہ یہ اس کو اب سستے داموں بیچ ڈالے گا۔ میں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے پوچھا تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ اس کو مت خرید اور اپنے صدقے کو مت پھیر۔ اس لئے کہ صدقے میں لوٹنے والا اس طرح ہے جیسے کتا جو قے کر کے پھر اس کو کھا جاتا ہے[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 988]
