English Translation
Narrated Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever frees his share in a slave, then, if he has wealth enough to fix a fair price for the slave and pay the shares of the partners who own a portion of that slave, the slave becomes free on his account (and if he does not have enough wealth) then only his own share is freed." [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 893]
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: جو کوئی شخص کسی غلام میں اپنا حصہ آزاد کر دے، پھر اس کا مال بھی اتنا ہو کہ غلام کی انصاف والی قیمت مقرر کر کے اس غلام میں شریک حصہ داروں کے حصے ادا کر سکے تو غلام اس کے حق میں آزاد ہو جائے گا (اگر اتنا مال نہ ہو تو) اس کا اپنا حصہ آزاد ہو جائے گا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 893]
