English Translation
Narrated Abu Mas'ud al-Badri (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace be upon him): He (peace be upon him) said: "When a Muslim spends on his family, hoping thereby for reward, it is charity (sadaqah) for him." [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 886]
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابومسعود البدری رضی اللہ عنہ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے روایت کرتے ہیں کہآپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: جو مسلمان اپنے گھر والوں پر خرچ کرتا ہے اور اس میں ثواب کی امید رکھتا ہے، تو وہ اس کے لئے صدقہ ہے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 886]
