English Translation
Narrated Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him): We were with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) in a military expedition. Then when we were returning, I was hurrying my camel, which was very slow, when a rider came up from behind me and prodded my camel with a stick he had, and my camel began to move as fine as any excellent camel you ever saw. I looked back, and it was the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). He (peace be upon him) said: "O Jabir! What is your hurry?" I said: O Messenger of Allah! I have recently married. He (peace be upon him) said: "To a virgin or a previously-married woman (thayyib)?" I said: To a previously-married woman. He (peace be upon him) said: "Why not a virgin, so that you might play with her and she might play with you?" Then when we came to Medina and intended to enter our homes, he (peace be upon him) said: "Wait until night comes, that is, the time of Isha, so that the disheveled-haired woman may comb her hair, and the woman whose husband has been away may remove her pubic hair." Then he (peace be upon him) said: "When you go home, act with wisdom." (Lest the woman be in her menses and you, having come after so many days, be unable to restrain yourself). Urdu Translation
سیدنا جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہہم ایک جہاد میں رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے ساتھ تھے۔ پھر جب لوٹ آ رہے تھے تو میں اپنے اونٹ کو جو کہ بڑا سست تھا، جلدی جلدی چلا رہا تھا کہ ایک سوار میرے پیچھے سے آیا اور میرے اونٹ کو اپنی چھڑی سے ایک کونچا دیا، جو ان کے پاس تھی اور میرا اونٹ ایسے چلنے لگا کہ کہ جیسے تم کوئی بہت اچھا اونٹ دیکھتے ہو۔ میں نے پھر کر دیکھا تو وہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمتھے۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ اے جابر! تمہیں کیا جلدی ہے؟ میں نے کہا کہ یا رسول اللہ! میری نئی نئی شادی ہوئی ہے۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ باکرہ سے یا ثیبہ سے؟ میں نے کہا ثیبہ سے۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ باکرہ سے کیوں نہ کی کہ تم اس سے کھیلتے اور وہ تم سے کھیلتی۔ پھر جب ہم مدینہ آئے اور گھر داخل ہونے کا ارادہ کیا تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ ٹھہر جاؤ یہاں تک کہ رات آ جائے یعنی عشاء کا وقت، تاکہ پریشان بالوں والی سر میں کنگھی (وغیرہ) کر لے اور جس کا شوہر باہر گیا ہوا ہو وہ زیر ناف بال صاف کر لے۔ پھر آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ جب گھر جاؤ تو سمجھ داری سے کام لینا۔ (یہ نہ ہو کہ عورت ایام حیض میں ہو اور تم اتنے دنوں بعد آئے ہو اور صبر نہ کر سکو)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 847]
