English Translation
Narrated Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The worst food is the food of a wedding feast to which those who wish to come are prevented, and those who do not come are sought out and invited. And whoever does not answer the invitation has disobeyed Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, and His Messenger (peace be upon him)." [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 827]
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: بدترین کھانا اس ولیمے کا کھانا ہے کہ جس میں جو آنا چاہتا ہے، اس کو روکا جاتا ہے اور جو نہیں آتا اس کو بلاتے پھرتے ہیں۔ اور جو دعوت میں نہ آیا تو اس نے اللہ عزوجل اور اس کے رسولصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی نافرمانی کی۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 827]
