English Translation
Narrated Aisha the Truthful, Mother of the Believers (may Allah be pleased with her): The Prophet (peace be upon him) would always make itikaf during the last ten days of Ramadan, until he (peace be upon him) passed away. Then, after him (peace be upon him), his pure wives (may Allah be pleased with them) made itikaf.
Urdu Translation
ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمہمیشہ رمضان کے آخری عشرہ میں اعتکاف فرماتے تھے یہاں تک کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے وفات پائی۔ پھر آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے بعد آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی ازواج مطہرات رضی اللہ عنہن نے اعتکاف کیا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 633]
