English Translation
Narrated Muadhah al-Adawiyyah: She asked the Mother of the Believers, Aisha the Truthful (may Allah be pleased with her), "Did the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) fast three days every month?" She said, "Yes." Then she asked, "On which days (did he fast)?" She said, "He did not mind; he would fast on any day."
Urdu Translation
سیدہ معاذہ العدویہ سے روایت ہے کہانہوں نے ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے پوچھا کہ کیا رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمہر ماہ میں تین روزے رکھتے تھے؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ ہاں۔ پھر پوچھا کہ کن دنوں میں (روزے رکھتے تھے؟) انہوں نے کہا کہ کچھ پرواہ نہ کرتے، کسی بھی دن روزہ رکھ لیتے تھے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 627]
