Narrated bythe Mother of the Believers, Aishah as-Siddiqah
English Translation
Narrated the Mother of the Believers, Aishah as-Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her): When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) began his prayer at night, he would first pray two light rak'ahs. [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 380]

ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمجب رات کو نماز شروع کرتے تو پہلے دو ہلکی سی رکعتیں پڑھ لیتے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 380]
