English Translation
The Mother of the Believers Aisha as-Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her), regarding the saying of Allah, the Exalted — "And do not recite your prayer aloud..." — said: This was revealed concerning supplication (du'a) (i.e., do not make supplication too loudly nor too softly).
Urdu Translation
ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا اللہ تعالیٰ کے اسفرمان ((ولا تجھر بصلاتک....)) کے متعلق کہتی ہیں کہ یہ دعا کے بارے نازل ہوئی (یعنی دعا نہ بہت زور سے مانگو اور نہ بہت آہستہ آواز میں)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 2147]
