English Translation
It is narrated from the Mother of the Believers Aisha as-Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) regarding this verse: "Whoever is wealthy, let him refrain (and whoever is needy, let him eat according to his need)" — that this verse was revealed concerning the person who is a custodian of an orphan's wealth and manages and improves it. If he is needy, let him eat in accordance with what is proper (and if he is wealthy, let him not eat anything).
Urdu Translation
ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا سےاس آیت”جو شخص مالدار ہو وہ بچا رہے (اور جو محتاج ہو وہ اپنی ضرورت کے موافق کھائے)“کے بارہ میں مروی ہے کہ یہ آیت اس شخص کے بارے میں اتری ہے جو یتیم کے مال کا متولی ہو اور اس کو درست کرے اور سنوارے۔ تو اگر وہ محتاج ہو تو دستور کے موافق کھائے (اور جو مالدار ہو تو کچھ نہ کھائے)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 2130]
