English Translation
It is narrated from Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man asked the Prophet (peace be upon him), "When will the Hour be?" He (peace be upon him) was silent for a while, then he (peace be upon him) looked at a boy who was sitting before him (peace be upon him), of the Azd Shanu'ah, and said, "If this boy lives long, he will not grow old before your Hour is established." Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: This boy was of my age on that day.
Urdu Translation
سیدنا انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہایک آدمی نے نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے سوال کیا کہ قیامت کب ہو گی؟ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمتھوڑی دیر خاموش رہے، پھر آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے اس بچے کی طرف جو ازدشنوۃ میں سے آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے سامنے بیٹھا ہوا تھا، دیکھ کر فرمایا کہ اگر اس بچہ کی عمر لمبی ہوئی تو یہ بوڑھا نہ ہو گا، یہاں تک کہ تیری قیامت قائم ہو جائے گی۔ سیدنا انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ یہ لڑکا اس دن میرا ہم عمر تھا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 2063]
