English Translation
It is narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir that he said: I saw Jabir ibn 'Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) swear (an oath) that Ibn Sa'id was the Dajjal. I said, "Do you swear by Allah?" He said, "I heard 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) swear this before the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and he (peace be upon him) did not deny it."
Urdu Translation
محمد بن منکدر سے روایت ہے کہمیں نے سیدنا جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ کو (اس پر) قسم کھاتے ہوئے دیکھا کہ ابن صائد دجال ہے۔ میں نے کہا کہ تم اللہ کی قسم کھاتے ہو؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نے سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کو دیکھا کہ وہ اس بات پر رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے سامنے قسم کھاتے ہوئے سنا اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے اس کا انکار نہ کیا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 2043]
