English Translation
Sayyiduna Salamah bin al-Akwa' (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We visited, along with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), a man who was suffering from a fever. I placed my hand on him and said, "By Allah! I have never seen anyone as intensely hot as this today (his body was intensely hot due to the severity of the fever)." The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "Shall I not tell you of one who will be even hotter than this on the Day of Resurrection? They are those two riders who are turning their backs and going away." (This was said about two men who were among his companions at that time. It was said because those two were hypocrites, and he, peace be upon him, was aware of their hypocrisy.)

سیدنا سلمہ بن اکوع رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہہم نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے ساتھ ایک آدمی کی عیادت کی جس کو بخار آ رہا تھا۔ میں نے اس پر اپنا ہاتھ رکھا اور کہا کہ اللہ کی قسم! میں نے آج کی طرح کسی شخص کو اتنا سخت گرم نہیں دیکھا (بخار کی شدت کی وجہ سے اس کا جسم سخت گرم تھا) رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کیا میں تم سے اس شخص کے بارے میں بیان نہ کروں جو قیامت کے دن اس سے بھی زیادہ گرم ہو گا؟ وہ یہ دونوں سوار ہیں جو پیٹھ موڑ کر جا رہے ہیں (یہ دو آدمیوں کے بارہ میں جو کہ اس وقت آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے ساتھیوں میں سے تھے۔ یہ اس لئے فرمایا کہ وہ دونوں منافق تھے اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمان کے نفاق سے باخبر تھے)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1944]
