English Translation
Sayyiduna Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We were with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) on a journey when the people began to say the takbir aloud. He (peace be upon him) said: "O people! Be gentle with yourselves (that is, remember quietly), for you are not calling upon one who is deaf or absent; rather, you are calling upon One who hears (from every place), who is near, and who is with you (that is, in knowledge and encompassment)." Sayyiduna Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I was behind him and I was saying, "There is no might nor power except with Allah." He (peace be upon him) said: "O 'Abdullah bin Qays! Shall I tell you of one of the treasures of Paradise?" I said, "Certainly, O Messenger of Allah! Tell me." He (peace be upon him) said: "Say: 'There is no might nor power except with Allah.'" (This is a phrase of entrusting oneself, and it contains an acknowledgment that no one else has strength or power; for this reason Allah loves it greatly.)
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوموسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہہم رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے ساتھ ایک سفر میں تھے کہ لوگ بلند آواز سے تکبیر کہنے لگے۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ اے لوگو! اپنی جانوں پر نرمی کرو (یعنی آہستہ سے ذکر کرو)، کیونکہ تم کسی بہرے یا غائب کو نہیں پکارتے ہو بلکہ تم اس کو پکارتے ہو جو (ہر جگہ سے) سنتا ہے، نزدیک ہے اور تمہارے ساتھ ہے (یعنی علم اور احاطہٰ سے)۔ سیدنا ابوموسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ میں آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے پیچھے تھا اور میں لا حول ولا قوّۃ الاّ باﷲ کہہ رہا تھا۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ اے عبداللہ بن قیس! میں تمہیں جنت کے خزانوں میں سے ایک خزانہ بتلاؤں؟ میں نے عرض کیا کیوں نہیں یا رسول اللہ! بتلائیے؟ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ کہہ لا حول ولا قوّۃ الاّ باﷲ (یہ کلمہ ہے تفویض کا اور اس میں اقرار ہے کہ اور کسی کو نہ طاقت ہے نہ قدرت، اس وجہ سے اللہ تعالیٰ کو بہت پسند ہے)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1893]
