English Translation
Narrated Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him): Shall I not relate to you a hadith that I heard from the Messenger of Allah, and after me no one who heard it from him (peace be upon him) will relate it to you? The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "Among the signs of the Hour is that knowledge will be lifted away, ignorance will spread, adultery will be committed openly, wine will be drunk, and men will decrease until there will be one man for every fifty women to look after them (that is, many men will be killed in battles) and only women will remain."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہکیا میں تم سے وہ حدیث بیان نہ کروں جس کو میں نے رسول اللہ اسے سنا ہے اور میرے بعد کوئی ایسا شخص تم سے یہ حدیث بیان نہ کرے گا جس نے اس کو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے سنا ہو۔ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ قیامت کی نشانیوں میں سے ایک یہ ہے کہ علم اٹھ جائے گا اور جہالت پھیل جائے گی اور زنا کھلم کھلا ہو گا اور شراب پی جائے گی اور مرد کم ہو جائیں گے، یہاں تک کہ پچاس عورتوں کے لئے ایک مرد ہو گا جو ان کی خبرگیری کرے گا (یعنی لڑائیوں میں بہت سارے مرد مارے جائیں گے) اور عورتیں رہ جائیں گی۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1856]
