English Translation
Narrated Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him): I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say, "Indeed Satan has despaired of being worshipped by those who pray in the Arabian Peninsula (as he was worshipped in the era of ignorance), but he will incite them (that is, he remains hopeful of causing fighting among them)."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہمیں نے نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے سنا، آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمفرماتے تھے کہ بیشک شیطان اس بات سے ناامید ہو گیا ہے کہ اس کو نمازی لوگ عرب کے جزیرہ میں پوجیں گے (جیسے جاہلیت کے دور میں پوجتے تھے) لیکن شیطان ان کو بھڑکا دے گا (یعنی آپس میں لڑائی کرانے میں پرامید ہے)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1804]
