English Translation
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A man came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and said: I pledge allegiance to you (peace be upon him) upon migration and jihad, seeking its reward from Allah. He (peace be upon him) asked: Is either of your parents living? He said: Both are living. He (peace be upon him) asked: You seek reward from Allah the Exalted? He said: Yes. He (peace be upon him) said: Return to your parents and treat them well.
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبداللہ بن عمرو بن عاص رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہایک شخص رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے پاس آیا اور عرض کیا کہ میں آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے ہجرت اور جہاد پر بیعت کرتا ہوں اور اللہ سے اس کا ثواب چاہتا ہوں۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے پوچھا کہ تیرے ماں باپ میں سے کوئی زندہ ہے؟ وہ بولا کہ دونوں زندہ ہیں۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے پوچھا کہ تو اللہ تعالیٰ سے ثواب چاہتا ہے؟ وہ بولا کہ ہاں۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ تو اپنے والدین کے پاس لوٹ جا اور ان سے نیک سلوک کر۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1756]
