English Translation
The Mother of the Believers, Aisha the Truthful (may Allah be pleased with her), said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) went on a journey, he would cast lots among his wives. Once the lot fell upon me and upon the Mother of the Believers, Hafsa (may Allah be pleased with her), and we both went out with him. When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) traveled at night, he would go along beside Aisha the Truthful (may Allah be pleased with her), conversing with her. Hafsa (may Allah be pleased with her) said to Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): Tonight you ride on my camel and I will ride on your camel; you will see what you have not seen, and I will see what I have not seen. Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: Very well. So Aisha rode on Hafsa's camel and Hafsa rode on hers. At night the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came toward Aisha's camel, on which Hafsa was riding. He greeted her and went along beside her, until they alighted at the halting place. And the Mother of the Believers, Aisha the Truthful (may Allah be pleased with her), did not have the Prophet (peace be upon him) with her (all night), so she felt jealous. When they alighted, she would put her feet into the idhkhir (grass) and say: O Allah! Set a scorpion or a snake upon me to sting me; he is Your Messenger, I cannot say anything to him.

ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمجب سفر کو جاتے تو اپنی ازواج پر قرعہ ڈالتے۔ ایک بار قرعہ مجھ پر اور ام المؤمنین حفصہ رضی اللہ عنہا پر آیا اور ہم دونوں آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے ساتھ نکلیں۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمجب رات کو سفر کرتے تو ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے ساتھ ساتھ ان سے باتیں کرتے ہوئے چلتے۔ حفصہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے کہا کہ آج رات تم میرے اونٹ پر سوار ہو جاؤ اور میں تمہارے اونٹ پر سوار ہوتی ہوں، تم دیکھو گی جو تم نہیں دیکھتی تھیں اور میں دیکھوں گی جو میں نہیں دیکھتی تھی۔ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا کہ اچھا۔ پس وہ حفصہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے اونٹ پر سوار ہوئیں اور حفصہ رضی اللہ عنہا ان کے اونٹ پر۔ رات کو رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے اونٹ کی طرف آئے، جس پر حفصہ رضی اللہ عنہا سوار تھیں، آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے سلام کیا اور ان ہی کے ساتھ ساتھ چلے، یہاں تک کہ منزل پر اترے۔ اور ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو (رات بھر) نہ پایا تو انہیں غیرت آئی۔ جب وہ اتریں تو اپنے پاؤں اذخر (گھاس) میں ڈالتیں اور کہتیں کہ اے اللہ! مجھ پر بچھو یا سانپ مسلط کر جو مجھے ڈس لے، وہ تو تیرے رسول ہیں، میں ان کو کچھ نہیں کہہ سکتی۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1666]
